Cheong Fatt Tze Mansion

Cheong Fatt Tze 張弼士 was dubbed "one of China's last Mandarins and first Capitalists". This impressive 19th-century mansion, with Chinese porcelain artwork, English floor tiles, Scottish cast iron works and stained glass windows, was a testament to his wealth and power. Unfortunately it fell into disrepair after his death, until it was lovingly restored in the 1990s.
